Hermann Rauschning’s entire memoir is not just “embellished”; it’s completely fraudulent. A completely fraudulent Diary of Eva Braun is still sold by bookstores to this day. I own a copy. The “Last Testament of Adolf Hitler” is published as the 1945 Hitler-Bormann Documents. There is more than likely some veritable information in this document, but most of it has been forged, especially the references to the French. I would even venture to guess that certain portions and terms in the English versions of Mein Kampf have been altered as well. |
