I thought everyone might find this entertaining, as well as informative. It is almost as though most people have this impression or idea that Hitler was inhuman, had no sense of reality, no sense of humor, and was somehow completely and utterly closed off from the world around him. I am not sure why students are taught this in school, but it simply is not accurate.
Hitler could be quite amusing at times, enjoyed a good laugh, especially when Putzi [Hanfstaengl’s ‘pet name’] was around, read foreign papers [albeit in German] regularly, and knew quite a bit about the various socio-political scenes in the Allied nations. He was not ignorant, however he probably should have made a few trips to the U.S. with Ludecke, as it may have given him a little bit more accurate an idea of what America was really like—totally Jewish and utterly materialistic. There is nothing equitable to actually experiencing something first-hand, but Hitler was extremely stubborn and refused to do so even though Ludecke and Putzi pressured him to make a few trips to foreign countries.
Some of Hitler’s Thoughts on Christ and Christianity: Wagener and Ludecke
Wagener (1985) had told Hitler, “It [Jewry] will unite all the armies and navies of Europe and America to vanquish us and to remove this deadly peril to the world dominion of financial capital—that is, of Jewry. And they will kill anyone, they will burn all the books and documents that might serve as witnesses of the truth of the perception.”
“And you believe that we would find no support in England?”
“England and America are the ones most strongly interested in preserving the hypnosis. The only nation that might possibly be prepared to follow our thoughts is Russia” (Wagener, Memoirs of a Confidant, 189-190).
“Like Christ we must preach, ‘You are all brothers! Love one another!’ Only we alone can and must think clearly about racial questions. You, and I, and Rosenberg, and one or two others. For us, these questions are a key and a signpost. But for the public at large, they are poison! Besides, such discussion would only rouse superiority and inferiority complexes. And these are the surest way to destroy a Volk community” (Ibid., 213).
“Germany, the German Volk! And this Volk will be the sword of God” (Ibid., 215).
“For the introduction of a socialist economy is more than a ‘decree’! It requires a moral understanding, an ethical conviction, a religious profession of faith! For in its innermost essence, it is a turning away from the idolatry of previous millennia, the overcoming of a monetary system already attacked by Moses and Christ, which could be maintained to the present day only by keeping people stupid and terrorizing them, and by a mendacious sanctimoniousness. To bring about this powerful revolution is our mission…” (Ibid., 263).
“In the last analysis, this is the fulfillment of the meaning and mandate of divine creation, given to all the peoples and races of the world. Its accomplishment is the true religion, as was once acknowledged and taught by Christ; we must shape it anew” (Ibid., 292).
“The church drew on Bible stories and the will to glorify God. We must derive our subjects from the new spirit stirring in our time, from the will to community, to the sense of sacrifice for the Volk and the faith of the Volk in the fulfillment of its longing for freedom and equality, for work and greatness, and for justice before God and man” (Ibid., 310).
“That is the moment in which we live! The National Socialist movement is the harbinger of the return to the will and mission of nature and the upholder of the socialist idea, as it corresponds to the Christian doctrine and the true religion, and it rejects all Jewish leadership” (Ibid., 319).
Kurt Ludecke (1938) had stated, “Hitler, no matter how vehemently he had denounced political clericalism, had always carefully distinguished between the temporal and spiritual spheres, and had never attacked the Catholic faith” (I Knew Hitler, 241). Hitler had good reason to attack the Catholic Church, as it had not only waged war against the people, time and time again, but more regrettably, it had refused Church funerals to dead Catholic SA members. The Church also threatened to excommunicate Catholic Nazis, which certainly imparted a very negative image of the Church upon once-loyal Catholic and Protestant Christian Nazis (Ludecke, 521-522). This was one reason why many Nazis turned away from the Church. Ludecke went on to say that, at one point, Hitler had told him, “It is a tragedy of the Germanic world that no German Heiland was born among us; that our organic, spiritual evolution was suddenly violently interrupted [Thirty Years’ War]; that Jesus was [subsequently] judaized, distorted, falsified, and an alien Asiatic [read: Jewish] spirit was forced upon us. That is a crime we must repair” (Ludecke, 521).
Hitler’s Cross: Analysis
I found something interesting in Hitler’s Cross and I will provide a theological analysis of it.
“Christ pulled back the curtain and allowed us to look into Hades, the place where the souls of unbelievers await the final judgment. A certain rich man was in torment and cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue; for I am in agony in this flame” (Luke 16:24). Hitler also feels that flame today. It’s a preview of what is to come.
Eventually, Hitler will also be judged and thrown into the lake of fire along with the dragon, beast, and false prophet. All demonic religion will have been shown to be false, deceptive, and weak. And every tongue will confess that Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. God will have proven that man cannot rule himself; all attempts to take the scepter from the Almighty were futile and foolish” [emphasis added]” (Erwin Lutzer, Hitler’s Cross, 76).
Before I even begin slamming this piece of pseudo-scholastic trash, let me say that the author of this book has actually had the audacity to claim that Hitler was the predecessor of Antichrist. Nowhere is it written that Antichrist has a predecessor, though St. John had poignantly, in fact, indicted Jewry was the Antichrist (see John I); nor is Hitler written into any of the Biblical prophecies [unless one is to accept that he was Christ’s Intercessor]. Therefore, the cited text above is both ludicrous and deceptive, and I will point out why I believe this is.
First of all, I will address the issue of “unbelievers”. Mr. Lutzer is essentially saying that the unbelievers are awaiting Christ’s final judgment as they sit being tormented in Hell, and Hitler is among them. I find this to be problematic for two reasons: firstly, I do not believe that people are tormented in Hell until after the final judgment has come to pass. Why would people be tortured and tormented when they have not yet been judged; secondly, Hitler cannot possibly be among them since he was a believer. Hitler said that Jesus was “the true God” in a speech delivered to a National Socialist audience in April 1922 (Steigmann-Gall, The Holy Reich, 27). That was not the only time he had defended Christ either. Furthermore, the Jews claim that Christ Himself was a liar and that He is burning in hell in a cauldron of hot feces.
“He made it plain that he regarded Christ’s struggle as direct inspiration for his own. For Hitler, Jesus was not just one archetype among others, but ‘our greatest Aryan leader.’ While emphasizing Jesus’ human qualities, Hitler in these instances also alluded to His divinity. At a Christmas celebration given by the Munich branch of the NSDAP in December 1926, Hitler maintained that the movement’s goal [that is, the goal of the NSDAP] was to ‘translate the ideals of Christ into deeds.’ The movement would complete ‘the work which Christ had begun but could not finish.’ On another occasion, this time behind closed doors and to fellow National Socialists only, Hitler again proclaimed the centrality of Christ’s teachings for his movement, ‘We are the first to exhume these teachings! Through us alone and not until now, do these teachings celebrate their resurrection’” (Steigmann-Gall, 27-28)!
Moreover, Hitler said, “‘The folkish-minded man, in particular, has the sacred duty, each in his own denomination, of making people stop just talking superficially of God’s will, and actually fulfill God’s will, and not let God’s word be desecrated.’ For God’s will gave men their form, their essence, and their abilities. Anyone who destroys His work is declaring war on the Lord’s creation, the divine will.’ Author Steigmann-Gall goes so far as to claim—backed by sufficient primary evidence—that “Hitler’s anti-Semitism” was probably a result of his Christian upbringing, subsequently, it was most specifically a Christian “anti-Semitism” (Ibid., 27). I am more inclined to believe that the Christian faith has always been in contention with Judaism, and that the Jews themselves are to blame for what they like to label “anti-Semitism.” Hitler had come to this resolution by 1945, as pointed out by Martin Bormann in the final table talks (if they are indeed genuine).
I would like to bring up the fact that Jesus was indeed “anti-Semitic”—or more accurately “anti-Jewish,” as Arab peoples are also Semitic—which is blatantly obvious when one reads the contents of the New Testament. Jesus’ teachings were clearly anti-capitalistic, anti-Jewish, anti-monetary, and anti-individualistic. He preached socialist doctrine and lashed out against the activities of Jewry on many occasions. Even the Jews can affirm that Jesus was not loving to them, that He was anti-Jewish, that His father was allegedly a “Roman soldier named Pantera,” that He was not their Messiah, and that He was not circumcised—which certainly would indicate that he was not Jewish, but Gentile. These things have been written in the Jewish Talmud. Yes, in fact, Jesus reviled the Jews as “the children of the devil” (see I John). Moreover, even Abe Foxman—Jewish head of the ADL—has claimed that the New Testament is nothing more than a tract riddled with anti-Semitism. In fact, Foxman has indicated that he would like to see the New Testament altered, in order to render it more ‘Jew-friendly’. Most “true Christian” priests and pastors have claimed that altering God’s Word is very evil, if not the ultimate sin. Hitler did not even attempt to alter God’s Word, only, he had it ‘de-Jewified’, by establishing a research team that would remove the Jewish-riddled Old Testament canon from Christ’s doctrine, which was clearly anti-Jewish in the first place!
Furthermore, Christ’s words were not altered in this so-called Nazi Bible, only, Jesus was rightly portrayed as an Arian, not a Jew. Jesus was not Jewish, and the only reason the Jews try and claim that He was Jewish is so that they can continue to perpetuate the greatest lie of the modern age: We “Chosen” Jews had to murder Jesus to fulfill the salvation prophecy of the Gentile world. Lies! Yet, they have written that Jesus is burning in boiling human excrement and/or semen, depending on which lovely verse you come across while perusing this Bible of Satan, in Hell. Seriously now, would the Jews write this about one of their own, let alone the prophesied “Messiah”? No, they wouldn’t. Jesus was the true Savior because He came to save Gentiles from Jews; He came to save God’s people from Satan’s people. To believe otherwise is to adhere to a Jewish lie. Jesus denounced all Jews as liars; it is much better to have faith in Him than in the Jews. Hitler poignantly pointed out that the Jews would never have handed one of their own to the Roman authorities. They would have punished Him themselves (Bormann, Hitler’s Table-Talk, 721).
That being said, I will continue with my analysis of the excerpt from Hitler’s Cross.
The excerpt from the Bible that Lutzer utilizes states that “a certain rich man” was burning in hellfire. Need I say that Hitler was not rich and lived a quite selfless life in order to serve as a true Christian example to his people? Hitler did not have gold-plated toilets, several mansions all to himself, or take lavish and expensive trips all around the world at his taxpayer’s expense. In fact, Hitler had one nice, beautiful home, which he had certainly earned and deserved, and his people used to come visit him there regularly. What kind of leader allows average people to come visit him at their leisure? He could have been shot at any time! Hitler did not worry about these types of things because his people loved and admired him and he had no reason to fear them. Contrary to common misperception, Hitler ruled popularly… not by terror or force. Need I mention that Jewry tends to wield extensive power backed by immense wealth? Jesus said, “I tell you it is impossible for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” If this is the case, then certainly more ‘evil’ Germans will be in Heaven than ‘sainted’ Americans. Also, it is then more likely that Hitler dwells in Heaven, than Churchill or Roosevelt—two wealthy Jewish elitists. Moreover, if Jewry wields the most wealth, then would they not predominate in Hell?
Lutzer also claims that Hitler will be hurled to hell, along with the beast, dragon and false prophet. I have to contest this assumption because Hitler did not oppose Christianity, and as a matter of necessary discourse, supported it and encouraged it. In fact, he declared it the official religion of the Third Reich. Hitler only opposed false Christianity and the corrupt, political ‘churches’ who he felt were actually responsible for most of the persecution of Christians throughout the ages. One may study the Jewish and Catholic-Christian role in the two Inquisitions, as well as the role of the various Popes during the Crusades to verify Hitler’s point-of-view in this regard. If anything, Hitler despised the hatred and bigotry of the so-called Christian churches, which he claimed had burned innocent women at the stake for no reason other than to terrorize and subjugate, which led to the complete subordination (to the Church) of the people. These activities of the so-called Christian churches are some of the most heinous and anti-Christian activities ever committed in all of human history.
Lastly, Lutzer claims that the demonic religions will cease to exist, and that man will finally realize that he cannot supplant God. Well, Hitler did not have a demonic religion that he had aspired to… unless one wants to don Christianity ‘demonic,’ as the Jews have done. Finally, Hitler never claimed that he was God, or even tried to pretend to be God, and as a matter of fact, thought it was silly that people had thought him a “Messiah.” Hitler told both Wagener and Bormann, “I am not a Messiah,” but he did claim that he had been assigned the divine duty to rescue Germany from her woes. And once again, just to be clear, Hitler claimed that Jesus was “the true God.”
Ludecke Denounces America as Jewish
Ludecke: “The National Socialist movement in Germany had been born under very special conditions; as the natural reaction to the intolerable spiritual and economic burden imposed on the German people by the Versailles Treaty, it had a metaphysical and historical background centuries old. But America had no Gothic domes, no great painting and music, no Eckehart, Luther, and Kant, no Schiller and Goethe, in short, no traditional but living body of culture to stir souls, arouse longings and show ways to new liberty. America had experienced no anti-Jewish movements such as Europe had known in all ages; on the contrary, the United States, perhaps more than any other land, might be said to be brimming with the Jewish spirit. Werner Sombart had written: ‘What we call Americanism is nothing less… than the Jewish spirit distilled.’ America had not lost a world war, and had not felt the horrors of bolshevism. Nor did it yet know that horrible spiritual and physical distress which was forcing Germans to think, bringing buried riches of spirit to the surface again, and creating an indomitable will to freedom” (I Knew Hitler, 322).
How dare Americans pass such vehement historical judgment upon a revolutionary socio-political movement that they could not even have remotely understood. Perhaps it is time for Americans to begin studying the word ‘ethos,’ as opposed to judging every country and historical event in human history from a biased American perspective with American ‘measures’ and ‘standards.’

This page was scanned in from Kurt Ludecke’s I Knew Hitler. These are photos of Hitler and Ludecke having a picnic together and discussing his [Hitler’s] many “pet names” in the foreign media. Needless to say, Hitler was rather amused by the many names he was given by the American papers.
I suppose one of the best ones was “messiah of absurdity”. Ludecke on ‘Hitler’s Pet Names’ in The American Guard … Ludecke: “… Here’s something interesting,” I said… and turned to an article headed “ ‘Hitler’s Pet Names’ in the American Press.”
These were the quoted epithets I read off to him, translating into German as I went: “Little man—world menace—messiah of absurdity—reactionary—demagogue—adventurer—desperado—would-be dictator—drummer of a jazz orchestra—fanatic—product of the jazz age—mystical nonsense-monger—drummer-boy—mischief-maker—dapper quack doctor—German Rasputin—clown—terrorist of the streets—brazen charlatan—mad apostle—Bolshevik—monarchist” (Ludecke 530-31).
